Forgot your Password?!

We all have a multitude of passwords that we need to keep track of these days. Far too many to remember them unless we are using the same password for multiple sites (a really big no-no!) There are a couple of solutions to this problem we have available for our clients;

  1. AcaciaIT is implementing a new portal to allow users who forget their passwords to be able to reset them. It’s called Quickpass and once we have it ready to go (1st quarter of 2022) it will allow the end user to create an account and install an application on their cell phone that allows them to change the password if they forget it. It also has a quick access portal for our technicians should you still wish to have a tech change your password.
  2. There are many password safes that can store your passwords for all your websites in one secure encrypted location. We recommend LastPass as it has a free trial version so you can get the hang of how it works and has a corporate addition so that you can share passwords to employees for sites, they can login, but they will never see the password.

Have other issues with passwords? Drop us a note and we would be happy to help.
